GLASTONBURY 2014 - Rain Stops Play

Posted on June 27, 2014 at 1:15 PM

Rain has stopped play this evening and no, not at Wimbledon but at Glastonbury. An electrical storm is currently playing it's set in the skies above Worthy Farm and all outdoor stages have had to temporarily shut. The storm occured midway through Rudimental's set, forcing them to finish early. Spector have also had their set on the Williams Greens stage postponed.

A Glastonbury official soon arrived on the scene and was qouted as saying "It's looking iffy" but expects all to be up and running again soon. BBC live streams have also been forced to halt their coverage due to the storm. Let's hope all is clear for Arcade Fire on the Pyramid tonight, of which is currently closed.
