RIFFED's Interview With The Rev
| Posted on June 6, 2014 at 4:25 PM |
We caught up with Jon McClure (A.K.A The Rev) of Reverend and The Makers and grabbed an interview with the man himself.
1) Which has been your favourite album you've produced?
Personally 'A French Kiss in the chaos' although it's not to everyone's taste but as time goes on people find that album and love it I reckon.
2) Are you looking forward to your homecoming gig? and which gig has been the favourite of your career?
In the early days we did a gig in Liverpool on e! I thought we were great at the time although we probably sounded like shit. However it was easily my favourite haha. And yeah October will be immense and it'll be nice to play songs we haven't played for a long time.
3) Can we expect more albums in the future?
Why not!! We are on the up and up of late so it's good to be alive. I still love doing this and it seems our fans still love it. Long may it continue .
4) What made you do house gigs ?
Cos I still believe in word of mouth and in the rock n roll spirit which seems to be lacking in the mainstream. It's what it's all about. Randomness and chaos should be where it's at surely?
5) Who's on your playlist ?
Liberty ship from Sheffield, Kwaito from South Africa is amazing. I'm into professor . Township electronic music . Just badarse. Get on it
